Tom Arnold defends Roseanne Barr against Chuck Lorre's writer claims
Original: Tom Arnold defends Roseanne Barr from Chuck Lorre’s claim she ‘hated’ her show’s writers: ‘She only liked the funny ones’
Actor and comedian Tom Arnold has pushed back on producer Chuck Lorre's claim that Roseanne Barr 'hated' the writers of her hit sitcom 'Roseanne'. Arnold, who worked on the show and was once married to Barr, said the characterization was wrong, joking that she 'only liked the funny ones'. The remarks revive long-running tensions around one of American television's most successful and turbulent comedies.
Why now: Chuck Lorre's renewed criticism of Roseanne Barr has prompted a public rebuttal from her ex-husband and former colleague, drawing attention to old Hollywood feuds.
