Raúl Fernandez out of Australian MotoGP Grand Prix

Original: raúl fernández

MotoGP rider Raúl Fernández has been ruled out of the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, joining Jorge Martín among recent withdrawals. The Spaniard had shown determination earlier in the weekend, riding through pain to finish second in Friday practice, but will take no part in the race. His exit comes as doctors discuss the risks riders face returning from injury.

Why now: Fernández's late withdrawal from the Australian Grand Prix is fresh breaking news in the MotoGP paddock.
