Knicks Hit by Towns Injury Scare and Rings Dispute

Original: knicks

The New York Knicks are in the news for two reasons: star Karl-Anthony Towns suffered a frightening injury, falling to the floor in pain before being taken to the locker room, raising concern about his condition. Separately, reports say Knicks assistant coaches have not received NBA championship rings, with Madison Square Garden employees allegedly misled by an email, fuelling criticism of the organisation.

Why now: A scary injury to a star player plus an unflattering rings report have put the Knicks in the spotlight simultaneously.
