Original: kentonline
Two people have suffered serious burns in what witnesses described as a traumatic flat fire in Kent, with residents forced to evacuate their homes. The incident comes as the UK weathers a run of severe storms, with Storm Boelo expected to bring 80mph gusts and heavy rain, and Storm Austen already hitting coastal areas.
Why now: A serious fire injuring two people in Kent is making local headlines at the same time as severe storms batter the country.
