IMSS pensioners protest and November payment news in Mexico
Original: jubilación
Mexican workers and pensioners are focused on two developments. IMSS employees are holding marches in Mexico City and other cities on 22 October, with road closures announced along the protest routes. At the same time, pension beneficiaries are being told the November SSI payment will arrive on Friday 30 October, with no deposit scheduled in November itself, prompting questions about the payment calendar.
Why now: IMSS protest marches and changes to the pension payment schedule are affecting retirees and workers right now.
