A car owner has repaired the exhaust on their Astra at home, drilling mounting holes to size after repeatedly resharpening drill bits and contorting under the vehicle. Other worn mounts were replaced too, one of which fell apart during removal and had to have its nut cut in half to come off. The finished job is being shared as a small DIY victory.
