Ralf Schumacher mocks Fernando Alonso for staying in Formula 1

Original: ralf schumacher

Ralf Schumacher, brother of Michael Schumacher, has attacked Fernando Alonso for continuing to race in Formula 1 at his age, quipping that by the same logic 'we should close Formula 2'. The comments have drawn attention in Spain, where the two-time champion remains a central figure at Aston Martin and is currently Formula 1's oldest driver.

Why now: Schumacher's pointed remarks about the 43-year-old Alonso's longevity in the sport have reignited a familiar debate about age in Formula 1.
