Crime Cats comic jokes that filthy rich is literal
Original: good morning, enjoy a crime cat. # TheCrimeCats say the filth in filthy rich refers to the pollutants their wealth neces
The indie webcomic TheCrimeCats shared a new strip for Mörktober day 22, themed around poison. In the joke, the cats argue that the "filth" in "filthy rich" refers to the pollutants their wealth necessitates, an eco-satirical jab at the wealthy. The creator also used the post to ask readers for support via Ko-fi, as part of an ongoing daily comic series.
Why now: The daily Mörktober drawing challenge has creators posting themed art, and this satirical strip about wealth and pollution is catching readers' attention.
