Fortnite is set to return to Apple's App Store in Australia following a court ruling, according to Engadget. The game was removed from Apple's platform worldwide in 2020 after Epic Games bypassed Apple's in-app payment system, sparking a long-running legal battle over App Store fees and rules. The ruling clears the way for Australian players to download the game again on iPhones and iPads.

Why now: A court decision has forced Apple to reinstate Fortnite in Australia, marking a new development in the Epic Games versus Apple legal saga.
