Original: Sacha Baron Cohen to star in Quentin Tarantino's West End play The Popinjay Cavalier https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2

Sacha Baron Cohen will headline The Popinjay Cavalier, a West End play written by Quentin Tarantino, marking the filmmaker's theatre debut in London. The casting pairs the British comedian with the director best known for Pulp Fiction and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Details about the production's plot and full cast have not yet been announced, but the collaboration has drawn wide attention across film and theatre circles.

Why now: It is a rare and unexpected crossover of a major film director writing for the London stage with a well-known comic actor in the lead.
