AP-NORC poll: voters want Congress to focus on costs and Iran, not Trump
Original: Voters want the next Congress to focus on costs and Iran, not on Trump, a new AP-NORC poll shows
A new AP-NORC poll indicates that American voters want the incoming Congress to prioritize the cost of living and Iran over further attention to President Trump. Outlets including AP News, The Washington Post and WKMG are reporting the findings, which suggest a disconnect between voter priorities and the political battles likely to dominate Washington, with kitchen-table economic concerns topping the agenda for many Americans heading into the new congressional session.
Why now: A fresh poll on congressional priorities has just been released and is being widely covered by major news outlets.
