Chamber works by Lili Boulanger and overlooked women composers shared
Original: @ classicalmusic Nocturne voor viool en piano, Morceaux pour flûte ou violon et piano - nr.2, "Cortège" Lili Boulanger S
A classical music post highlights chamber repertoire by pioneering women composers, including Lili Boulanger's Nocturne for violin and piano and her 'Cortège', alongside pieces by Amanda Röntgen-Maier, the Swedish violinist and composer, and Rita Strohl. The works for violin, cello and flute with piano are being shared to draw attention to composers whose music remains little performed.
Why now: Listeners are actively promoting rarely heard works by women composers in classical music.
