New Airbnb rules to limit guest checkout chores
Original: airbnb
Airbnb is introducing new rules that will limit what hosts can ask guests to do before checkout, addressing a common complaint about lengthy chore lists like stripping beds, taking out trash, and running dishwashers. The change comes after growing frustration among travellers over being asked to perform cleaning tasks despite paying cleaning fees.
Why now: Travel checkouts are a frequent pain point and the new policy directly responds to widespread guest complaints.
