Traffic on Kyiv's Southern Bridge has been temporarily closed in the direction from the right bank to the left bank of the Dnipro, according to a report by Ukraine's national news agency Ukrinform. Drivers in the capital face disruption and will need to use alternative river crossings while the restriction is in place. No official reason for the closure or its expected duration has been given so far.
Why now: The closure of a major Dnipro crossing is causing traffic disruption for Kyiv residents right now.
