Ja Morant leaves Trail Blazers debut with hamstring issue

Original: ja morant

Ja Morant, now with the Portland Trail Blazers, exited a game with a hamstring problem, tempering excitement around his arrival in Portland. His pairing with Damian Lillard, who is returning to the Blazers after an Achilles injury, is drawing debate, with Charles Barkley arguing the two star guards cannot coexist in the same backcourt.

Why now: Morant's injury scare and the high-profile Lillard reunion have made the new Blazers backcourt a major NBA talking point.
