Travis Kelce helps teens convert 1969 Chevelle to electric
Original: “I do it for the smiles on the kids' faces”: How Travis Kelce helped teens turn a 1969 Chevelle into an e
NFL star Travis Kelce helped a group of teenagers transform a 1969 Chevelle into an electric car, saying he does it "for the smiles on the kids' faces." The project pairs classic car restoration with modern EV technology, and Kelce's involvement has drawn attention for putting a celebrity spotlight on hands-on learning for young people.
Why now: Kelce's celebrity status combined with the unusual mix of a classic muscle car and EV conversion makes the story appealing.
