PH4NTXM introduces isolated 'Browser Airlock' for Firefox and Tor
Original: 🔬 The best bytes of # science & # tech across the # fediverse “Inside PH4NTXM: ⌗56 Browser AirlockAn optional, isolated
The PH4NTXM project has detailed its 'Browser Airlock' feature, an optional isolated workspace for Firefox and Tor Browser. It runs the browser inside a sandboxed filesystem and desktop, so that if the browser is compromised, the attacker's access stays contained. Users can import only selected files into the workspace. The update is being shared among privacy and security communities focused on hardened browsing setups.
Why now: Interest in browser isolation and privacy-hardening tools among security-conscious users is driving attention to this new feature.
