NYC Resistor, the Brooklyn hackerspace, is running a class this Saturday, October 24th, 2026, where participants can make wands and bracelets styled after the sorcerers in the fantasy series The Rings of Power. The workshop is aimed at fans of wizard-themed crafts, with a joking reference to Saruman from The Lord of the Rings. Only a handful of people have engaged with the announcement so far.

Why now: The quirky, fandom-themed craft class offers a fun local activity for fantasy fans in New York.
