Naples university occupied over distance learning demands

Original: didattica a distanza

Students have occupied part of the Federico II University in Naples, with the protest slogan calling for the Meloni government to 'stay home'. The action is tied to demands around remote teaching, a topic drawing renewed attention in Italy as institutions weigh online lessons. ANSA reported the occupation, and the phrase 'didattica a distanza' is circulating widely online.

Why now: A student occupation in Naples has put distance learning back at the centre of Italian public debate.
