The Primitive Percussion Youth Orchestra is drawing praise online, with one commenter calling it an incredible project and joking about wanting to become an elementary school music teacher just to start a folk-horror-style music band for children. The ensemble appears to blend youth music education with unconventional, atmospheric performance, and posts tagged with music and education show word of the project spreading.

Why now: The orchestra's unusual blend of children's music education and folk-horror aesthetics is charming and surprising people encountering it.
