Unitree unveils H2-X security robot that fights like a kung fu master
Chinese robotics firm Unitree has introduced the H2-X, a security robot it says can move and fight with kung fu-like agility. The company is known for agile humanoid and quadruped robots, and the new model extends that work into security applications. The dramatic demonstration-style framing has drawn attention and debate about the robot's real-world capabilities and safety.
Why now: Unitree's reputation for agile robots means each new humanoid or security model quickly becomes a talking point about the state of robotics.
