More rats in Bünde as Else river level rises
Original: bünde
The town of Bünde in North Rhine-Westphalia is responding to reports that a rising water level in the Else river could be driving more rats into the area. Local newspaper Neue Westfälische asked the city about the connection between the higher water and a growing rat population, and the town has now given its assessment of the situation and what, if anything, it plans to do about it.
Why now: Residents are concerned that rising water levels along the Else are bringing more rats into town.
