Musk ordered Starlink slowdown that blindsided Ukraine, report says

Original: Musk ordered slowdown of Starlink in Ukraine

Elon Musk ordered a slowdown of the Starlink satellite internet service in Ukraine, a move that reportedly caught Ukrainian officials off guard, according to a Wall Street Journal report carried by Reuters. Starlink has been critical to Ukrainian battlefield communications since Russia's 2022 invasion, so any deliberate disruption raises serious questions about Western reliance on Musk's private infrastructure for wartime operations.

Why now: The report is new and touches on the highly sensitive role of Starlink in Ukraine's war effort, sparking debate over private control of wartime infrastructure.
