A trade proposal is circulating in Japanese baseball circles suggesting the Los Angeles Dodgers could acquire Cincinnati Reds standout Elly De La Cruz. The idea, framed with the question of who could refuse such a deal, also name-drops Joey Votto, Josue De Paula and Shohei Ohtani in the surrounding discussion. No official move has been announced; it is speculation about an MLB trade scenario.
