Original: ZX Spectrum Next Laptop
A hobbyist has built a working laptop version of the ZX Spectrum Next, the modern recreation of the classic 1980s British home computer. The machine is housed in a 3D-printed case and documented on the Dorchester 3D printing blog. Retro computing fans are sharing the project, praising the build quality and the nostalgia of a portable Spectrum.
Why now: The retro computing community is drawn to creative hardware projects that reimagine beloved 1980s machines in portable form.
