Microsoft strips most Copilot shortcuts from OneDrive File Explorer

Original: OneDrive loses bunch of Copilot shortcuts in File Explorer clear-out Microsoft keeps 'Ask Copilot' as dedicated actions

Microsoft has removed several Copilot shortcuts from OneDrive's File Explorer integration, keeping only the 'Ask Copilot' option as a dedicated action. The changes took effect between mid-November and early December. The tidy-up suggests the company is streamlining where its AI assistant appears in Windows, though some users may miss the quicker access points.

Why now: Microsoft's latest simplification of Copilot's presence in OneDrive shows the company still recalibrating how AI features are surfaced to users.
