A widely shared message describes traditional Palestinian objects not merely as beautiful artefacts but as an expression of cultural identity facing erasure. The item circulated alongside hashtags calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and in solidarity with Palestine, with supporters using dove, flag and watermelon symbols. Commenters frame the discussion as part of ongoing concern about the destruction of Palestinian heritage and livelihoods during the war.
Why now: The Israel-Gaza war and ceasefire debate are keeping attention on Palestinian cultural heritage and perceived threats of erasure.
