Musk ordered Starlink slowdown that blindsided Ukraine
Elon Musk personally ordered a slowdown of Starlink service that caught Ukrainian forces off guard, according to a new Wall Street Journal report. The report has renewed scrutiny of Musk's control over a communications network critical to Ukraine's battlefield operations, and of the decisions made by SpaceX and the US government regarding military access to the satellite service.
Why now: A major new WSJ report alleges Musk deliberately degraded Starlink service Ukraine depended on for military operations, raising questions about one man's influence over a wartime conflict.
