A developer building a book-tracking tool has announced that every work in a user's library now gets a private notes page written in Markdown within a focused editor. An 'insert quote' function drops a saved passage into the note as a blockquote with its citation, and book titles become wikilinks so files open cleanly in Obsidian. The announcement is drawing interest from readers who keep their notes in Markdown.
Why now: Readers and note-taking enthusiasts are interested in book-tracking tools that integrate cleanly with Markdown workflows like Obsidian.
Evidence
