Original: David Fincher Says He Cut 60 Pages from Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Cliff Booth’ Script # MovieNews # Movies # DavidFincher # N
David Fincher has revealed he trimmed about 60 pages from Quentin Tarantino's script for the upcoming Cliff Booth film, which Fincher is directing for Netflix from Tarantino's screenplay. The character, played by Brad Pitt in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', is getting his own continuation, and Fincher's comments about reshaping the famously verbose Tarantino script are drawing attention from film fans.
Why now: The pairing of Fincher directing a Tarantino-written script is rare and newsworthy, and talk of major script cuts fuels curiosity about the film.
