Campaigners Urge IPSO to Probe 'Manufactured' Millionaire Exodus Story

Original: The Media ‘Manufactured’ Millionaire Exodus From UK, Campaigners Tell IPSO in Open Letter

Eleven campaign groups have written an open letter to IPSO, the UK press regulator, demanding an investigation into coverage of millionaire emigration from Britain. They accuse eight newspapers of 'manufacturing' the story of a rich exodus by misrepresenting a discredited study, arguing that repeated claims of wealthy people leaving the country were not supported by reliable evidence.

Why now: The open letter challenges widely reported claims about wealthy people leaving the UK, prompting a public debate about press accuracy.
