Original: Steam Users Beg for "No AI" Filter as Vibecoders Flood Next Fest
Steam players are calling on Valve to add a filter that hides AI-generated games as the latest Steam Next Fest demo event is filled with quickly made, AI-assisted titles. Gamers complain that discovering genuine indie projects has become harder, and many want a way to exclude AI-heavy releases from their storefront experience.
Why now: The Steam Next Fest demo event has drawn complaints about a wave of low-effort AI-generated games, prompting demands for better filtering tools.
