An Italian blog community, Plus Brothers News, has announced it is leaving WordPress.com, publishing a farewell post titled 'Go to the devil, WordPress'. The group says it will keep its small community on the platform for a little while longer before relocating elsewhere, noting it can be reached only by email and on the fediverse. The post signals frustration with the platform, though no detailed reasons are given in the announcement.
Why now: The blog's public, pointed farewell to WordPress.com is drawing attention amid ongoing debate about moving to decentralised platforms like the fediverse.
