Facebook reported to charge for posting more than two links monthly
Original: Facebook now charging to post more than 2 links a month
Facebook is reportedly introducing a charge for users who post more than two links per month, a change flagged by game developer Ashley Gullen. If accurate, the policy would mark a major restriction on sharing external content and could hit small publishers, creators and community groups that rely on link posts to reach audiences on the platform.
Why now: A possible paywall on basic link sharing would affect nearly anyone using Facebook to distribute content, prompting widespread concern and discussion.
