Scary Movie gets first 4K steelbook release
Original: The original “Scary Movie” receives an uninspired first-time limited edition 4K UHD steelbook that’ll have you asking “Wazzup?!”.
The original Scary Movie is receiving its first-ever limited edition 4K UHD steelbook release. Early commentary on the announcement is critical, with the packaging described as uninspired rather than a fitting celebration of the 2000 spoof classic. Fans of the franchise, famous for its "Wazzup?!" gag, appear divided on whether the edition justifies a purchase.
Why now: Collector-focused physical media announcements draw attention, and this one is being criticized for a lackluster design of a beloved comedy's first 4K release.
