Pixel 11 Pro XL vs iPhone 18 Pro Max: Apple's edge fading
Original: I’ve used the Pixel 11 Pro XL and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and Apple’s ecosystem isn’t enough anymore
A reviewer who used both the Pixel 11 Pro XL and the iPhone 18 Pro Max concludes that Apple's ecosystem is no longer a sufficient reason to choose the iPhone. The comparison suggests Google's flagship now competes closely enough that software lock-in alone does not decide the choice between the two phones.
Why now: Both devices are newly released flagships, so buyers are comparing them ahead of purchase decisions.
