Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a virtual meeting with US legislators to assess Washington's policy shifts under Donald Trump toward Russia amid the ongoing invasion. Zelensky raised concerns over delayed deliveries of US-made Patriot interceptors and continued restrictions on Ukrainian access to Starshield, arguing these holdups affect Ukraine's battlefield position and air defences.

Why now: Concerns are mounting that US political shifts could slow military aid to Ukraine while the war with Russia continues.
