Participants in the weekly German photo suggestion challenge are sharing pictures of 'red stuff', with one contributor photographing the bright red berries of the holly, known in German as winter berries. The photographer joked that Christmas has not arrived yet, but the berries are already showing their festive colour days before the holiday.

Why now: The recurring photo challenge prompts users to share seasonal red-themed nature pictures just ahead of Christmas.
