Quinta Brunson Says Her Betty Boop Movie Captures a Whole Era of Animation
Original: Quinta Brunson Says Her Betty Boop Movie Is About an Entire Era of Animation
Actress and writer Quinta Brunson, who is developing a Betty Boop film, says the project will not just center on the famous cartoon character but will explore the entire era of animation she came from. Brunson framed the movie as a look back at that period of animation history, not a simple biopic of the character.
Why now: Brunson is a high-profile star and the project is a notable reimagining of a classic animation icon.
