Austin Evans Buys Ugly Refurbished MacBooks from Back Market
Original: I Bought Ugly MacBooks from Back Market
Tech reviewer Austin Evans has bought a batch of cosmetically damaged MacBook laptops from Back Market, the refurbished electronics marketplace, to test what condition the company's lowest grades actually deliver. The stunt is drawing big attention as viewers weigh whether cosmetic flaws on refurbished Apple laptops are worth the discount, and what that says about the second-hand tech market.
Why now: Interest in refurbished Apple laptops and whether cosmetic condition grades are worth the savings is currently high.
