DIY controller build promises six hours and $12 for a working gamepad
Original: You can make this DIY controller in six hours and for less than 12 bucks—but would you want to? I think I'll stick with
PC Gamer highlights a DIY controller project that can be built in about six hours for under $12, prompting the writer to admit they would rather keep their GameSir Nova Lite. The piece frames the cheap build as a fun experiment rather than a practical replacement, raising the question of whether hobbyist controllers can rival budget commercial pads.
Why now: Readers are drawn to the novelty of an ultra-cheap DIY controller and the debate over whether it is worth the effort.
