BBC Denies James Acaster Complaint Over Celebrity Traitors 'Macho Banter'

Original: BBC Denies ‘Celebrity Traitors’ Contender James Acaster Complained Over Competitors’ ‘Macho Banter’: ‘Categorically Untrue’

The BBC has rejected reports that James Acaster, a contestant on its new show 'Celebrity Traitors', complained about fellow competitors' 'macho banter' during filming. A spokesperson called the claim 'categorically untrue'. The denial followed tabloid speculation about tensions on the set of the celebrity edition of the popular reality gameshow, which has been drawing heavy attention from British media.

Why now: The BBC's unusual public denial of a rumor about a high-profile new celebrity show has fueled press coverage.
