Ukraine hands Israel captured Russian Geran drones for analysis
Original: Die #Ukraine übergibt #Israel erbeutete Geran-Drohnen aus #Russland zur Analyse. Besonders interessieren neue Varianten
Ukraine is transferring Geran drones it captured from Russian forces to Israel so they can be studied. Particular interest is on new jet-powered variants. Israel is examining the propulsion, navigation systems and weak points to improve its defences against Iranian-designed drones, which share the same basic design as the Geran.
Why now: The transfer links the two ongoing conflicts, showing Ukraine and Israel cooperating on counter-drone technology against a common Iranian-designed threat.
