173 clashes on Ukraine front line, Russian assaults repelled near Pokrovsk
Original: На фронті - 173 зіткнення, ЗСУ знешкодили майже пів сотні окупантів на Покровському напрямку Протягом 18 жовтня на фронт
Ukraine's General Staff reported 173 combat clashes along the front on October 18, with the heaviest fighting on the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces attempted attacks 22 times. Ukrainian defenders said they neutralised nearly fifty occupying troops in that sector, as Russian pressure on Pokrovsk remains the most intense point of the front.
Why now: Pokrovsk remains the hottest spot of the Russia-Ukraine war, and daily casualty and clash figures draw constant attention.
