True crime blogger asks readers for donations to keep going
Original: If you appreciate my work, please consider signing up for a subscription or a one-time donation. Even a dollar helps. ht
An independent true crime blogger who runs the site Old Man Trench is appealing to readers for financial support, asking for subscriptions or one-time donations to sustain coverage of crime news. The writer says even a dollar helps, a common appeal among independent creators whose reporting depends directly on audience funding rather than advertising or institutional backing.
Why now: Independent crime bloggers increasingly rely on reader donations, making funding appeals a recurring point of visibility and discussion in the true crime community.
