Aitor Esteban says PNV alone kept Vox from power
Original: aitor esteban
PNV leader Aitor Esteban said his party is "the only party" whose votes have prevented Vox from governing in Spain. Speaking in remarks reported by RTVE, he positioned the Basque nationalists as the decisive barrier to the far right entering government. The statement fits into the ongoing debate over which parties are willing or unwilling to enable a Vox-backed government.
Why now: His claim that PNV alone blocked Vox is striking in the current Spanish political debate over the far right.
