Silent Sunday ocean beach photo draws attention
Original: # StillerSontag # SilentSunday Ocean Beach (Details In The # AltText ) (AltText Misspelt By Hunan) # NoGenAi # NoAI # No
A black-and-white photograph of an ocean beach is circulating in the Silent Sunday tradition, a weekly practice where photographers share quiet images with minimal or no caption text, with details provided in alt text instead. The image carries tags stressing it was made without generative AI, a growing point of principle among photographers, and its poster humorously notes the alt text contains a spelling slip.
Why now: It reflects the ongoing photography-community debate over human-made versus AI-generated images, shared in a popular weekly ritual.
