A passage from William Shakespeare's King John, Act 2, Scene 1, is being quoted: 'The cannons have their bowels full of wrath, And ready mounted are they to spit forth Their iron indignation 'gainst your walls.' The line comes from the war-drama scene between France and England, and literature fans are sharing it as part of a regular Sunday tradition of posting favourite Shakespeare excerpts.
Why now: Shakespeare lovers routinely share favourite lines under the recurring ShakespeareSunday tradition.
