The Daily Mail is facing criticism after suggesting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may have influenced the death of William Chapman, a 24-year-old man who entered a tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The outlet noted Chapman was a Skyrim fan and had taken a photo with a crossbow that day. Critics say the link between the game and his death is speculative and unfair to gamers.

Why now: People are pushing back against what they see as a sensational attempt to blame video games for a death.
