US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he was disturbed by images showing Israeli settlers attacking Washington Post journalist Heidi in the West Bank. The incident has drawn attention to rising violence against journalists and Palestinians by settlers in the occupied territory, and to how the US administration responds amid ongoing tensions between Israel and the Palestinians.
